Hi, numan,
Here's a like that provides a good list of Spike's CDs: [link].

I can't spot either of the songs you want. Funny the 1940s stuff has been issued over and over, but there are a lot of gaps in Spike's 1950s records.

Hi, Zany, Spike recorded a box set of six Charlestons on 45s. And his versions of the classical tunes "Liebestraum," "Rhapsody from Hunger(y)," and "Morpheus" were mostly instrumental, with brief spoken bridges. If it was a 78, it might have been "Holiday for Strings." Another instrumental Spike recorded (on 78) was Hotcha Cornia (the old Russian song "Dark Eyes"),

does anyone know of a 45 RPM record that came out in the late 1960's of Spike Jones instrumental music ? I don't know the name of the song but it was hilariously funny with just instruments playing. No vocals were used at all.

No, Claire Brandt looks completely different. She isn´t Kay Cee Jones. Can´t it be that Kathleen Dana Jones (daughter of Bernie Jones) was the alias of Kay Cee Jones?
No idea?

Hi, Doowopdaddy, wasn't Kay Cee married to songwriter Eddie Brandt? (Definitely not Spike of Freddy.)

Hi, Dic2phone, "Mama Look at Boo Boo" was a hit for Harry Belefante.

Hello.
Does anybody knows the relationship between singer KAY CEE JONES and her songwriters Freddy Morgan and Eddie Brandt and Bernie or Spike Jones? Is/was she a relative with hits like "Japanese farewell Song"?

Is there a button like that, on this site? I have a question for the moderator. thx

P.S. If you are the moderator, I'm trying to find if you received my thread posting of a couple days ago, selling a filing cabinet whose drawers are labeled with the names of Spike, his wife, Spike Jr. and several others.

P.P.S. If I posted it in the wrong forum, please steer me in the right direction.

P.P.P.S. I've now re-posted it, into the "Swap, Wanted, Offered" forum, which I'd guess is the right one. Now that I'm getting the hang of it, this is a pretty agile little site. Thanks! (I am curious, though, about whether my original thread dun evaporated.)

Thanks!

Sorry for the late-ish reply. I'm in bad health and am currently not visiting my sites often.
Everywhere on the forum you should see the name of the moderator, currently me. You can send a private message (it's on the right-hand side) to me if the need arises again.
I'll see if I can make a contact page, which does make sense.

I haven't found the original (wrong) post, but that's ok, we're not that strict around here.

Welcome and enjoy your stay.

Hi Roy, thanks for the reply. Sorry you're not feeling well. I did find a resolution to my original problem, I simply re-posted the thread. Thanks (and thanks for the site), Alan
